GENERAL INFORMATION, PRICING, AFTERCARE

You may be wondering what are some of the benefits of permanent cosmetics. Permanent cosmetics can be most beneficial for individuals who are having difficulty with normal make-up application due to visual or physical impairments and/or degenerative diseases. If your eyesight just isn’t what it used to be, or you find your hands a little shakier; permanent cosmetics can make your life a little simpler and you can still look and feel your best! For individuals who have alopecia, or suffer with trichotillomania, permanent cosmetics can give you the eyebrows you’ve always wanted. Permanent cosmetics can be for both women and men.

P. C. is a time saver for those who are on a tight schedule or have a busy lifestyle that involves strict time management. It is a great time saver for mothers who are busy with kids and their activities. They may feel frazzled at times but they don’t have to look frazzled. Permanent cosmetics can help you look fresh during all times of the day and at all of your kid’s events.

Try LIP BLUSHING to have more defined lips, enhance the beauty of the lips you were born with & add a pop of color to your face. You can have a subtle tint or more full-coverage. You can wear clear gloss over you lip blush or if you are in the mood for a different color, you can apply it as well.

For darker skin tones, LIP NEUTRALIZATION may be for you. We can achieve a more nude or pinker pout.

This treatment is wonderful for both men and women with darker lips who wish to even out their natural color or desire a neutral/pinker color. This service may require more than two sessions to reach the desired outcome.

PRE-CARE

For lips, do a gentle exfoliation scrub a few times a week for the week or two leading up to the procedure. Also, keep them moisturized.

For brows and eyeliner, a gentle scrub can help prep the skin. Do not pluck any eyebrows/lashes before your procedure.

Discontinue using lash growth serums at least 3 months prior to your eyeliner session. These serums can make you more sensitive and can also open the blood vessels in the area, which could lead to migration of pigment.

AFTERCARE

The Night of Your Service:

  • Wash your hands and wet two (2) cotton rounds with warm water.
  • Apply mild, unscented soap to the cotton round and wash your brows/lips/eyeliner thoroughly.
  • Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Use one (1) sterilized water wipe and gently swipe over your brows/lips/liner, then apply the Healing Ointment and get your beauty sleep!
  • Try to sleep on your back. Sleeping on your side can affect healed results.

For the first 2 weeks apply a small amount of the healing balm that is in your aftercare packet to the area twice daily. Lips may require more.

When you shower or wash your hair, keep your face out of the direct stream of the water. You may want to use a shower guard to keep the area as dry as possible. Keep a clean paper towel nearby to pat them dry if they get wet and immediately apply the healing balm.

If you notice a liquid substance (lymph) oozing from the area, wipe with the sterile water pad & apply balm. Apply as needed if they start to feel tight and itchy.

DO NOT PICK at your brows/lips/eyeliner as they are healing. You want any flaking to fall off naturally for best-healed results. Avoid Sweating as much as you can.

Avoid Saunas, Steam Rooms, etc.

For 2 weeks, do not immerse the area in water, no swimming, no salt water, etc.

Avoid Botox, chemical peels, and fillers for 3 weeks after your session.

Avoid Retinol, active serums, makeup on the area for 2 weeks. Only use the healing balm.

Apply sunscreen after the area has healed in order to have longer lasting color retention. This is important if you are outdoors.

Your PMU specialist will have you take a picture of the stages of healing with your phone either before or after your session. You can refer to this during the healing phase in order to know what to expect during the healing process.

Please be aware that your brows/liner/lips will go through various stages during the healing process. Trust the process.

You should be booked for the Perfecting Session, if not please reach out ASAP so we can add you in our books to achieve your dream look on the second session.

You will need a color boost in 12-24, possibly 36 months. See you then and enjoy your beautiful look!
